Why use the installer ? The main benefit by using the installer, is that it does the lot for you. It analyses the Lotus Notes installation to figure out where you have the Notes program- and data directories, it places all the files and components of List Fields in the correct directories, register common components and finally update your Registry database with the correct settings. Using the installer, should be easy and straight forward. In addition, by using the installer, you will also get an uninstaller, so you can get rid of List Fields.
